The learnings from my Reunion

Recently I went for my school reunion after almost 15 years. Wont lie was felling a bit anxious. We never really know what to expect from these reunions, mostly its all about meeting old friends, knowing how they are doing, who is more "SUCCESSFUL". Well when I decided to go, it wasnt about any of those things. I knew where my friends were and rest of them really dint matter. It was a formality. There was an invitation and I just went.

However coming back, I felt funny. Not happy funny but funny funny. I met quite a few batch mates. Dint really bother about who was doing what as long as I was with my family, but then later on visiting their face book status, I saw some pics uploaded. and there it all started, where were these guys, why dint I meet them, are they all better placed than I am.. Questions kept troubling me.

Phew, blame it all on my bad habit to think a lot, But dont we all at some point of time do that. I fail to see that I was the one who did not take any initiative to meet the guys in the photograph, I was the one who never wanted to catch up per se, and was happy with my group where I identified, BUT despite that I want people to recognise me and I want to be one amongst the photograph. Is it not ironical knowing well that had I approached these guys, may be there was a possibility that they would want to be in touch. But we often as CRIBBERS refuse to see our side of the story. COZ IT CONVENIENT..

Bottomline, I had a wonderful time at the reunion; met some teachers who actually did manage to recognize me; some old class mates and best of all I was with my family. All just makes it to a HAPPY SUCCESSFUL ME coz at the end of the day I was HAPPY.  I think the reason I am penning or typing it down is because we need to be HAPPY and SUCCESS IS ONE OF THE MOST RELATIVE TERM THAT COMES ALONG WITH IT....

HAPPY HAPPINESS TO ALL OF YOU READING THIS BLOG.. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do writing it.. You comments are most welcome.
